Molly Hartwell (Santa Cruz, CA) and Laura Boswell (State College, PA) both moved to Asheville, NC in 2018 and met in early 2019 at a brewery where Laura was performing at a songwriter's event on International Women’s Day. Both accomplished singers, songwriters, and performers in their own right, they quickly discovered a mutual love of folk music and duo-centric, harmony-driven songs.
